It seems like once you step into this lounge, you step 20 years into the future. From the windows to the floor, everything seems it was worth your ticket fare.

The train is called train suite Shiki-shima. It was built by the Japanese company JR-EAST. If after reading about what services and luxury the most expensive train in the world has to offer, you think ”Hey, $10,000 per seat, it’s not that bad” and you want to buy yourself a ticket, let me let you know how much you have to wait to get in on it. You will have to wait at least until 2018 to hop on to it.

The tickets for a seat on this super luxurious train are sold out right now. The train is totally booked back to back until, at least, March of 2018. Would you buy a ticket? Straight out of the bat, I wouldn’t, I mean, I would love to, but $10,000, that’s just too expensive. Would you wait at least a year for a train ride? I don’t even like waiting the 3 minutes my instant noodles take to cook, so I certainly wouldn’t.
